From the back side the hotel looks into a desert. So, we decided to create tropical private courtyard with Jacuzzi for each room as well.

These courtyards are open to the sky but surrounded with off-white perforated panels which creates privacy and block unnecessary direct sun raise into the rooms.
These courtyards and perforated walls have created a contemporary minimal appearance that will be remembered.

The Concept is based on the courtyard as main function space/element in the Islamic Architecture. The courtyard was the “spine” space for all the entities/ departments within the designed community center. Each department has its own courtyard.

Nevertheless, the courtyards were vertically stacked to suite the multi stories structure form. Also, all these metaphoric “vertical courtyards” are rotating starting from the top to be aligned with street and existing neighboring buildings direction.

The Architecture style was inspired by heritage Qatari Style in contemporary form. To give a unique character to the project, the arcades used as key design element in the development in: use, scale and levels.
The first commercial Sunken Plaza in Qatar with fan zone outdoor auditorium and built-in large-scale screen to watch live games and events.

Main Perspective
Perspective 01
Qatar have one of the largest shooting ranges/fields in the world. Our client wanted to invest in the site to attract communities to this sport and much more. The concept was to create a Valley from artificial dunes with small river running which creates oasis in its journey.
At each oasis either camp of prefabricated light weight huts/tents emerge, or the dunes create a field for swimming pool or/and a filled of archery with horseback riding.

The location is quite with its sounds and lights to bring peace to who seeks it. And paths for pedestrians, bikes and horses going around in loops.
The river have no chemicals only Biological sterilisation methods to allow natural wildlife at water, land and sky to co exist and interact with families and youth who are visiting or camping to connect the communities with their ancestors and to our Islamic and Arabic rich heritage.

The aim was to have a premium office experience where each office space have; view, natural light and fresh air.
The courtyard was the solution to achieve this, especially as the block oriented to North with spectacular view of Lusail Plaza Towers.

A Summer Court yard of triple height located in the lobby with a diagonal drop off which cut the lower building part to connect and attract visitors from the two banks of the street.
The building is vibrant creature with its; roof garden, terraces and spacious Business Lounge and it also communicating with surroundings through the massive Media screen of 220sqm tilted to main street.
